This new development is offering 85,000 sqft of office space, including Chanel’s new London HQ, along with other retail space and terrace gardens. Our scope included 160 linear metres of embedded retaining wall, formed using hard/firm secant piles and installed using continuous flight auger (CFA) techniques to lengths ranging from 8 to 20 metres. We completed all piles in a single visit, utilising our Soilmec SR-75 piling rig. Despite the small site, our SR-75 was able to showcase its versatility and ability to work in restricted city centre sites.
