Located in London’s prestigious Kensington area, this project involved the multi-million pound refurbishments of 98 luxury apartments. We were contacted to review the feasibility of extending downwards three existing lift shafts as the current lifts stopped at ground level and needed to be extended to basement level.
The original building was constructed on a 1200 mm thick pile raft which had been constructed in the 1980s. This meant indicative records did exist but could not be fully relied on.
